I wish you had homages for x files, like Senator Richard Matheson, he author Richard Matheson wrote for various tv shows, like, twilight zone, outer limits and wrote numerous books that most of which became famous movies, including I am Legend, What Dreams May Come. Mulder lived in Apt 42, also the number given in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Vanessa Morley played Samantha Mulder. CANCER MAN smoked "Morley" cigarettes. Jose Chung, played by Charles Nelson Riley was a spin on Whitley Strieber, and War of the Coprophanges not only picked on Steven Hawking, when the doctor confined to the wheel chair spoke through the electric voice box he sounded a dead ringer for DAVROS from Doctor WHO the Tom Baker era.
There are so many loving homages X-Files made, that, at the time, were thought of as lacking of imagination, now, when I look at the episodes, I see people that had a great idea, went with it, and paid respects to where science fiction is today.
But I am sure this has already been entered by someone.
